The Mal Baboyian Scholarship established at the University of Houston Digital Media Program has selected its inaugural recipients - Lauren Easton, Eric Nieser, and Malika Williams (more below). The three recipients will be honored this month at a special dinner reception with the University’s Chancellor and the Dean of Technology.

Mal BaboyianThe multi-year scholarship fund was established in honor of Mal Baboyian, who recently retired from senior leadership positions at Canon and Canon Solutions America (CSA).

During his decades-long career in the print industry, Mr. Baboyian was recognized world-wide for his leadership, mentorship, and business acumen in his personal and business activities.

Many individuals and companies credit Mr. Baboyian with meaningful contributions to their success. Mal was recently awarded the 2019 Harold W. Gegenheimer Award in recognition of his inspiring and mentoring influence on so many people in the global print and business community.
